Too much coffee.
My eye won’t stop twitching lately. I guess I’m under a lot of stress but I don’t notice it anywhere else in my body.
I got news earlier this week that one of the two restaurants in the group I work for will be closing on June 30th of this year. The owner is going to do his best to relocate as many employees as he can from that location to the location I work at. It’s shocking news even though most of us saw this coming when the piece of land the 12S location was purchased by a commercial real estate development company last year.
We’re being told that the reason the 12S location is closing is because of the lack of parking that will exist once the new company starts construction on a retail project. Regardless of the reason, all the employees that work there will likely migrate to my location.
I doubt I’ll be able to keep the same hours I was working which is nice because I was burnt out by the volume of hours I was working anyway.
I’ve been presented with an opportunity to help a gentleman I’ve gotten to know with his business. He thinks I’d be good at selling his services. He trains anyone who is exposed to people exhibiting aggressive behavior. It’s similar to a CPR service although far more involved than that.
This opportunity comes at an interesting time given all of the changes happening at Taqueria.
I know that I’ll need to find a new way to make money given the changes and this opportunity fits my natural talents well.
My apartment lease is also ending at the end of August which continues to linger in the back of my mind.
I guess a lot is changing in my life right now.
This could be why my eye won’t stop twitching.
Oh, and the coffee I’ve been consuming.
